Prof. Mark Aaron Polger, Reference and Instruction Librarian, College of Staten Island / City University of New York macht eine interessante Umfrage (jetzt auch für andere als nordamerikanische Bibliotheken). Er verspricht seine Ergebnisse zu publizieren:
I am doing research on the various methods that Health Sciences Library staff (in a hospital) deliver library services. I am particularly interested in the following:
-Are services delivered in the library or do you make „house calls“ ?
-Is instruction delivered to staff and physicians in the library or outside the library?
-Do you visit staff and physicians in their offices (for consultations) or do users visit you in the library?
-Do you have a „mobile“ library service on clinical floors?
-Do you participate in „rounds“ with clinical staff and physicians?
The survey is hosted at Survey Monkey.
