Zusammenfassung: Schwerpunktthema der aktuellen Ausgabe 3/2011 von GMS Medizin – Bibliothek – Information ist die Jahrestagung 2011 der Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Medizinisches Bibliothekswesen (AGMB) in Köln; das Motto lautete „Innovativ denken, strategisch planen, praktisch umsetzen“. Zentrales Thema der diesjährigen Tagung waren Innovationsmanagement und Marketing sowie neue Anwendungen für Medizinbibliotheken.

Bruno BAUER: Medical libraries: think innovative, plan strategically, implement in practice
Abstract: The focus of the current issue 3/2011 of GMS Medizin – Bibliothek – Information is the annual conference 2011 of the German Medical Libraries Association in Cologne. The motto of the conference was “Think innovative, plan strategically, implement in practice”. Focal points of the meeting were innovation management, marketing and new applications in medical libraries.
