Zusammenfassung: Nach einem kurzen Abriss der Geschichte der Medizinischen Bibliothek der Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin stellt der Aufsatz deren organisatorische Einbindung in die Charité und die Verbindung zur Freien Universität und zur Humboldt Universität vor. Es folgt eine ausführliche Beschreibung ihrer Aufgabenstellung, Informationsangebote und sonstigen Serviceleistungen.

Ulf PAEPCKE: The Medical Library of the Charité – Universitaetsmedizin Berlin – a library in a time of change
Abstract: The article starts with a brief outline of the history of the Medical Library of the Charité – University Medicine Berlin. It then describes the library’s organizational status within the Charité and its relation to the Free University and the Humboldt University of Berlin. Then follows a detailed description of its mission and tasks, the wide range of the different sources of information and other services it offers.
